Terms of Use — MealLens

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of the MealLens mobile application ("the App"), developed by Fırat Onurcan Polat ("we," "us," "our"). By downloading or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

1. The Service

MealLens lets you photograph meals and packaged foods to receive AI-generated estimates of calories and macronutrients, log them to a food diary, set personalized targets, and track water and weight.

2. AI Estimates & Health Disclaimer

Nutrition values produced by the App are estimates generated by an AI model and may be inaccurate or incomplete. They are provided for general informational purposes only and are not medical, dietary, or health advice. You are responsible for verifying values and for any decisions you make. Consult a qualified healthcare professional before making significant dietary changes. You use the App at your own risk.

3. Subscriptions (MealLens Pro)

MealLens offers an auto-renewing subscription ("MealLens Pro"):

Weekly and yearly plans are available; the price is shown in the App before purchase.
Payment is charged to your Apple ID account upon confirmation of purchase.
The subscription renews automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period.
You can manage or cancel your subscription in your App Store account settings.
Purchases are handled by Apple under the App Store Terms; refunds are subject to Apple's policies.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to misuse the App, including reverse-engineering it, disrupting its operation, or using it for any unlawful purpose.

5. Intellectual Property

The App, its design, and its content (excluding your own data) are owned by us and protected by applicable laws. These Terms do not grant you any rights to our trademarks or branding.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any decisions made in reliance on the App's estimates.
