Rouse (“we”, “us”, or “our”) is an alarm and wake-up mission app. This Privacy Policy explains how the app handles information when you use Rouse.

Information stored on your device

Rouse stores your alarm schedules, app settings, selected theme, chosen sounds, and any reference photos you create for photo missions on your device. This information is used only to provide the app’s alarm and mission features.

Photo mission reference images and candidate photos are processed on your device. Rouse does not upload those images to our servers.

Motion data used for shake missions is processed on your device in real time and is not stored or transmitted by Rouse.

Permissions

Rouse may request permission to schedule and present alarms, access the camera for optional photo missions, and access motion sensors for optional shake missions.

You can decline or later change these permissions in iOS Settings. Declining a permission may make the related mission or alarm experience unavailable.

Purchases and RevenueCat

Rouse offers optional in-app purchases through Apple’s App Store. Apple processes payment information; we do not receive your full payment-card details.

We use RevenueCat to validate purchases, restore purchases, and determine whether Rouse+ is active. RevenueCat may process a pseudonymous app user identifier, device and technical information, and transaction or subscription information for this purpose. Rouse does not provide RevenueCat with your photo-mission images or motion data. RevenueCat’s privacy policy is available at https://www.revenuecat.com/privacy.

Data sharing, tracking, and advertising

Rouse does not sell your personal information, display third-party advertising, or use your information for cross-app tracking. We share purchase-related information only with Apple and RevenueCat as needed to operate, validate, restore, and support purchases.

Retention and deletion

Alarm data, settings, and mission photos remain on your device until you delete them in the app or remove the app. Purchase and entitlement records are retained by Apple and RevenueCat according to their policies and legal obligations.

Rouse does not provide accounts or maintain a developer-operated user database. If you have a privacy request about purchase-related information, contact us through the support page below.

Children

Rouse is not directed to children under 13.
