Sweep is built to be private by design. Everything it does happens on your device. Your photos never leave your iPhone or iPad, we operate no servers, and we do not collect, track, sell, or share your personal data.

Overview

Sweep ("the App") is a photo and gallery cleaner that helps you find and remove duplicate photos, screenshots, blurry shots, and large videos to free up storage. This Privacy Policy explains how the App handles information. In short: Sweep performs all of its work locally on your device using Apple's built-in frameworks, and no photos or personal information are ever transmitted to us or to any third party.

This policy applies to the Sweep iOS application published by Fırat Onurcan Polat (bundle identifier com.firatpolat.sweep).

Information We Collect

Essentially none. Sweep does not require an account, does not ask you to sign in, and does not collect personal information.

How Photos Are Processed

All photo analysis is performed entirely on-device using Apple's frameworks:

This processing happens locally, in real time, on your device. The App does not need an internet connection to analyze your library, and the results of the analysis are not sent anywhere. When you choose to delete items, Sweep uses the standard system Photos API to move them to your device's "Recently Deleted" album, where iOS keeps them recoverable for approximately 30 days before permanent removal.

Data Storage

The only data Sweep stores is kept locally on your device and is never transmitted off it:

Because this data lives only on your device, deleting the App removes it. This information is never accessible to us.
