This Privacy Policy explains how PHYSIQ handles information when you use the PHYSIQ iPhone app.

The short version

PHYSIQ is local-first. Your check-ins, photos, notes and results are stored in protected app storage on your device and are excluded from device backups. PHYSIQ does not operate an account database or a photo-storage server.

When you expressly agree and tap Analyze, the app sends the information listed below directly from your device to OpenAI to create an AI-assisted visual estimate. PHYSIQ requests are sent with store=false. OpenAI may still retain limited content in abuse-monitoring logs under its API data controls, normally for up to 30 days unless a different approved retention control or legal/safety exception applies. OpenAI states that API data is not used to train its models unless the API customer opts in.

Information stored on your device

PHYSIQ may store:

• Guided front, side and back check-in photos
• Check-in date and week number
• Optional weight and note
• AI-generated physique score, body-fat estimate range, quality score and progress summary
• Goal, appearance and reminder preferences
• AI-processing consent state
• Local free-analysis usage counter

This information stays in PHYSIQ's app container unless you choose AI analysis, export it, share a branded progress card or delete it.

AI processing

Only after explicit consent, PHYSIQ sends the following directly to OpenAI's Responses API:

• Current check-in photos
• Matching photos from a prior check-in when available
