MetaGuard is developed by Fırat Onurcan Polat as an individual developer.

MetaGuard is designed to help you inspect, edit, and remove metadata from your photos directly on your device. The App is built around on-device processing and does not operate a backend service for uploading or analyzing your photos.

2. Information MetaGuard Accesses

Depending on how you use the App, MetaGuard may access the following information on your device:

• Photos you choose to work with. If you select photos from the iOS photo picker, MetaGuard receives access to the items you choose.
• Metadata embedded in selected photos. This may include EXIF, TIFF, IPTC, GPS location metadata already stored in the image, device information, date/time fields, lens information, and author/copyright fields.
• App preferences stored locally. MetaGuard stores settings such as appearance, cleaning preferences, and save preferences using local on-device storage.
